DEEP VACUUM PUMP OIL
Oil should be changed often to ensure proper pump performance. Use only quality oil specifically designed for use in Deep Vacuum Pumps.
Draining Oil
1. Drain oil when pump is warm.
2. Place pump on a level surface.
3. Place drain pan under drain valve.
4. Open drain valve and oil fill valve.
5. Let as much oil drain as possible to remove any traces of acid.
6. Flush by pouring a small amount of fresh oil through oil fill port.
7. CLOSE DRAIN VALVE.
8. Pour oil into fill port until level is even with mark on sight glass.
9. Re-install oil fill cap.
10. Cap all intake ports and run pump for two minutes.
11. Stop pump and check to see that oil is at the proper level on sight glass.
